Howdy, we are going to be going south at the end of March and are looking for a nice overnight stop along this route.
Not looking for 5 star accommodation but some place that is near the Interstate that is not loaded with crackheads, and accepts small pups.
Thanks

Some that we've stayed at in the area that accommodated our 36' fifth wheel include:
Rice Hill RV Park, Oakland, OR
Cypress Grove RV Park, Gold Hill, OR
Redding RV Park, Redding, CA
All were very pleasant

Any of the Oregon State campgrounds along your route are top notch. Valley of the Rogue State Park near Gold Hills is just off I-5 and has all services.

Never stayed here but it has caught my eye a few times driving by. Check out McCloud RV Park on hwy 89, 12 miles east of Shasta City and Interstate 5. I plan to give them a test drive sometime in the future.
There is a relatively new RV park in north Medford which may be good for an overnight.
I've been told of a fun RV park in Sutherlin, OR that is built on a drive-in movie site and still shows movies at night.
