Going from fifth wheel with 50 amp system to a travel trailer with 30 amp system. We have a "Camco Dogbone 50M/50F RV Circuit Analyzer with Power Grip Handles, Integrated Surge Protection and Fault Indication - 125/250V (55319)". Will that surge suppressor function properly using a 50 amp to 30 amp adapter? Or do we need to by a 30 smp surge suppressor?

Yes, your 50A unit will work fine.
