depends on your policy but if you can't live in the RV while it's being evaluated or repairs you're still going to need a place to stay regardless if those expenses are reimburseable. call your agent.

You will have to talk to your agent and get a copy of your policy.

Are you currently on vacation or at home? Unless it includes some sort of trip cancelation coverage, most likely they will tell you to go home while it's being repaired.

If you are living in the unit, if you don't have coverage specifically for full timing, you might be best not to bring it up as it might invalidate the repairs also.

yep talk to a agent ,nice if you could get the info in writing. keep every recipe you get. log when, where, what for ,money you spend. and it all comes down to what your policy says.

Are you covered for flood damage?

Details of this urgent situation would be interesting. You may be better off if they total the thing. You aren't going to be happy with an RV that has been flooded and "repaired" unless it's a down to the bones restoration. Service backlogs being what they are, even a relatively minor repair could have you abandoning the trip and returning home for the wait.

You should have received something from Allstate when you bought the insurance. It could be a link to your policy or an actual paper copy. That document is the only thing that will tell you what you can claim. IF you really trust your agent you can ask them what is covered. Just remember you are asking someone paid by Allstate how much money Allstate should pay you. Kinda like asking the fox to supply the lock for the chicken coop.

I agree we have full comprehensive and 5k personal belongings and a separate umbrella

Chatting with Allstate they say it’s upto the adjuster if they cover hotels food gas to flee the flood zone

It’s going on for its inspection with the dealer we purchased it from Friday

If the water came up above the frame, lobby for totalling it. Just like an auto, it will never be "right."

If it's a straight Auto policy, then there won't be any allowance for hotels.

Everyone's right that you need to see your policy to see what's covered. If it's a special RV policy then there might be some coverage for loss of use.
