We recently ordered a new 2023 F350 with the 7.3 gas engine for our farm work. It will be interesting to see how many months it will take to be delivered.

Having said that my original plan was to run my current truck to ~350k miles and I'm at 255k miles. I haven't seen these trucks in person, but if I were to pull the trigger on a new truck today it would be a F350 SRW with the HO 6.7PSD.

My daughter ordered a new Bronco coming up two years ago and we still haven't got a production date. Maybe if you order a new Super Duty today you'll have your 350k miles on the '12 by the time the new one shows up.[emoticon]

There's no vehicle on the road worth waiting 2 years for. I'd have picked something else way before now.

Absolutely...well past time to move on! Dealer should happily return any deposit! Even waiting for 1 year, is hard to justify, but going on 2, no matter the excuse, find another dealer/vehicle.

Well once at the end of the current model year production run, was the order canceled, or was the model year of the order updated??

Her order was rolled into the 2023 model year and the price was protected. I had a 2022 Super Duty on order to replace the 2022 that i'm currently driving ... Ford cancelled that order, so we ordered a 2023 ... not price protected.

You may have your daughter check with the salesperson because there are certain options that will prevent the vehicle from being built.
