Man Grit, I LOVE the looks of that truck ! !!

Keeping it old school looking is a good plan, at least I think so.

You can't go wrong with those old steelies ! I bet that wheel/tire combo will sling some mud and do some humming while rolling down the asphalt. [emoticon]

They’re a new twist on old wheels.
Back in the day the sizes were 16”, 16” or 16”. Or 16.5s a few years before that model.
Now Detroit steel wheels and US Wheel make “big” steelies.

My 82 had 16" steelies on it before I swapped them for some cheap aluminum wheels..

Went back to steelies after I bent 2 while off roading, after all, thats what 17 year olds do....

That Chevy looks like a jewel. I miss the good looks of those trucks.

Great looking truck.

The first things the kids had to learn before getting their full driver's license was how to properly change a tire and how check and change the oil and yes, I did test them to make sure they could safely do all of it.

Having a bad a$$ ride, or sweet ride, will build character/confidence in good boys.

Have you got a pic of the Pony, with the new pimp wheels on it?

Jerry

Here’s a pic of the Muskrat! He picked his “moms” wheels, lol. They are almost the same as my wife’s car, hahaha.

Yes both kids have learned a sense of responsibility and pride and care…
And they’re kinda spoiled but both are working very hard at their duties and goals as young men. I’m as proud of them as they are of their cars.

How did he find a curb to match the car's color?

IMO, those wheels add a masculine look, rather than pimp. Nice!! Thanks for posting the pic!

Yup, reds do match! Also lots of room for a good pic, in the no park red zone. A trick likely learned from his Dad. [emoticon]

I noticed it matched the color of the fire lane he was blocking lol.

Except he only took a pic of 3/4 of the car!

REALLY like the truck, not a fan of all that white tho. Maybe if they were black??? My 86 C20 2wd had white wheels and caps.

I remember that exact truck heading down the highway when it was new with a 6.2 Diesel, man that was the ruck I wanted!!!
