Keep trying. My favorite part is never having to go to a Jiffy lube or a gas station.

It’s ok @way2roll. As evidenced by this reply, many who own or promote EVs don’t understand much.

Out of curiosity- is that why you bought an EV, convenience? Because no one seems to be able to answer when questions get asked about how green and planet friendly EV's really aren't.

No one wants a heated argument, including me. I like new things, I like the technology. I like the tax credit. I can afford it. Carvana made it easy.

With finite resources to make batteries, continued reliance on a challenged electrical grid, continued reliance on foreign nations, caustic by-products of production, ecological impact of mining, humanitarian issues, and all the other myriad of problems that EV's continue to contribute, I am still trying to figure out exactly what problem EV's are solving.

Fossils fuels create and produce their own set of environmental hazards.
In the end its EV efficiency that changes everything.
Less heat, less emissions, fewer moving parts are the reasons EV are bringing change on society.

Glad you can afford it. I can afford that stand by generator I have that burns propane for when the blackouts come because people like you can "afford" a EV but complain to high heaven when the lights and a/c go out.

Go for a drive in a tesla model Y. Many people did that and then bought one. I don’t know what problem they are solving or if they even had one to begin with. It is a superior drive in every way though. The biggest reasons people give are still performance, tech and convenience. Drive what you like, like what you drive. It’s the number one car sold in many markets. And it comes down to people liking them. Try one. Maybe you will too. Who knows.

I'm just an enabler for the woke folks. I can't help myself.

This thread lasted a lot longer than I thought it would.
Let's stop the third grade nae calling or it will end.
If you want an EV, go buy one. If you want gas or diesel, go buy one.
The ban on IC engines is a long way down the road. I won't have to deal with it.
I don't hate EV's I just don't want one.

X100 I don't see the point of the discussion. You have a few who like electric, some who bash it, some who don't give a s***. Nobody on this RV forum can say with any amount of certainty what the future holds.
