A couple of the larger-size tires have fallen out of favor in recent yrs.
Michelin & Goodyear, both are expensive and have had problems.
Michelin had severe side-wall cracking & Goodyear had rivering (crazy thread wear)
neither would admit there was a problem.
For a while, Bridgestone was the go-to tire until they became as expensive as Michelin.
Now, Toyo is the go-to, that's what I bought & I have been very happy with them, plus I have not seen any bad reports on Toyos.
That said, I believe there are other good tire brands too. I try to stick with known brands

Over the yrs I have used many different brands of tires (Michelin, Goodyear, Toyo, sumitomo, Bridgestone, just to name a few) and with all issues being equal there was no noticeable difference between the brands.
Factors that affect tire performance are…sidewall (70, 75 or 80) more sidewall better ride, ply rating ( more ply harsher ride) , air pressure.

Same here....Michelins are fine on pick ups/autos/SUVs, but have many problems with 22.5 tires. Mostly cracking that requires changing, they are over rated and way over priced.

Most of your Michelin tires are “80” sidewalls. More prone to cracking but offer smother ride. Comparing an aged out tire to a new tire is not a fair comparison.

A friend of the family who runs a large trucking company recommended I try Double Coin tires, they have been really well received by the trucking industry and proven themselves every bit as dependable and last as long if not longer than the traditional brands.
They were VERY well priced and are very quiet and smooth going down the road.
