Surprise to me anyway. We cleaned the a/c filters several weeks again and since we were actually running the a/c at the time I noticed that it showed a new behavior: it ran all day and into the evening w/o icing. Not what we usually see.
Not to say it would run all night too, it would not icing after midnight unless it was raining. High night humidity I assume.
This happy situation kept on until yesterday when it resumed icing after three or four hours of runtime. Cleaned the not very dirty filters this AM and its been running ever since. ??

This got me to clean out much neglected Fantastic Fan filters/blades which were filthy and that much improved their operation.

We are in a dusty location right now

Next time you have a chance, not only clean the screens on your exhaust fans, but check the window screens in all the windows. They will inhibit air flow through the trailer as well. Air changes per hour will go up with clean window screens, and therefore, cooling efficiency.

Not just the filters but also the fins on the condensor and evaporator.

I have a small air filtration unit I set on the countertop when I'm camping in dry/dusty areas. It helps keep the interior cleaner and less dust in the air.
