I was recently told that Walmart has changed their policy concerning overnight parking nation wide and no longer allow overnight parking. I can't find anything doing a Google search. Can anyone confirm this?

I currently observe nightly RVs (few only) parking at the Reno Walmart lot next to Sams Club at Kietze Ln and Redfield parkway. They park in main front lot and rear lot. Never see any at Sams club. Also observe private security patrol car checking the lots at night.

https://corporate.walmart.com/frequently-asked-questions

Per the information at the link above:

Can I park my RV at a Walmart store?

While we do not offer electrical service or accommodations typically necessary for RV customers, Walmart values RV travelers and considers them among our best customers. Consequently, we do permit RV parking on our store parking lots as we are able. Permission to park is extended by individual store managers, based on availability of parking space and local laws. Please contact management in each store to ensure accommodations before parking your RV.

I hope that the corporate info is up to date. I hit Walmart at least three times on my travels to and from Minneapolis and Florida.

Parking at Walmart is a store-by-store situation depending on local ordinances and other factors. There used to be a guide floating around the internet about which stores allowed in and which don't. Do some searching and you might be able to find it (if it's been kept up-to-date).

Our local store has a sign "No 24 hour parking"

Please give me enough troubles, uncertainty, problems, obstacles and STRESS so that I do not become arrogant, proud, and smug in my own abilities, and enough blessings and good times that I realize that someone else is in charge of my life.

That's always been the case. This is something recent and supposedly nationwide.

Who "recently" told you this? Sounds like false news.

Why didn't you ask the person who told you this where they got the information?
