The Weather Channel....if he or she shows up it usually means severe weather of one sort or another.

There are a lot of folks who observe storms on behalf of NOAA (The government weather folks) and report on storm locations and movement who dress for other jobs or for "Walking down the street" Often their cars will have a license plate with one or two letters.. ONE number. then 1,2 or 3 letters (Always at least 3 letters total) Like AB1CDE or WA3C or some such.. I'm one of them.

That's Jim Cantore, the fellow from the Weather Channel we always see standing outside reporting on the big storms.
