That's a bum deal... it seems like it would be straight forward, as everything I've seen for springs in this size are all 1 3/4" wide.

My impression also, but the springs he received, and the ones the other guy got, were 2 inches wide, with the ends reduced in size to fit into the hangers. I've not read anything from the guy so I have no idea how the problem was resolved. He did comment at one point that the springs just felt much heavier than his OEM springs. Which would make sense if they were 2 inches wide. My concern was that the springs need to be able to flex, and if they don't flex enough, the trailer is going to take a beating.

I recently visited the RV museum in Elkhart and saw a big poster advertising ATIS systems for RVs. Wouldn't they make a mint if they extended that idea and put air bags on heavy RV trailers the same as semis? https://www.psitireinflation.com/how-it-works
