Hello all,
2023 Momentum 25G ,No DC power inside coach, electric jack has power. It started with my 12V Refrigerator chirping from low voltage 11.2 V. I started the generator and ran for 45 minutes after bringing the voltage up to 12.7 or so. When the generator shut down I had no DC Power in the coach. On shore power all DC works. 2000w inverter works regardless. Batteries have been plugged in and charging 12 plus hours; they're at 13.3V (lifepo4). And still no DC power.
I started testing from the battery back. Continuity was good on both inline 30A circuit breakers(frame mounted) and all fuses. Battery disconnect is on. I tested the battery dc in both positions. Inside: Panel:110 side no circuit breakers were not tripped, all fuses on DC side are good.?
2023 Momentum (less than a month old) 2- 100ahr 12V Battleborns, 660 W Solar Panels,50A mppt solar controller, WFCO WF8955 AD Converter. All factory or dealer install.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
???????Thanks in advance.

Some RVs on AC use the converter only for 12V house power and switch to the battery when the AC is off. Don't overlook a open ground. Use a voltmeter connected to frame ground to check voltage and not some groiund wire that may not be connected to the frame. Unplug and disconnect solar to so that the battery is the only source. Now turn the lights on for a load and start checking from the battery downstream and you should be able to isolate the problem.
A bad battery can also be your problem. Voltmeters use very small amps and hence voltage OK for voltmeter but fail with a load, hence have the house lights on.

BTW A good continuity check does not mean there is any voltage on both sides of the device.
Voltage with a load is what you want to verify and isolate the problem.

So, $50k camper, $1500 in batteries, a bunch in solar and a converter that I wouldn’t trust to charge a flashlight battery….what could go wrong….
But sounds like either you have a deadman switch turned off, or the converter isn’t working or something is wired wrong.
Feel bad since you’ll be at the mercy of a warranty tech who may actually be posting the same thing on the internet trying to figure it out…lol.

Thanks CA Traveler. I'm leaning toward an issue with the Battleborn BMS. I may need to discharge them and bring them back up. The problem is my auto detecting converter is not recognizing these batteries as Lifepo4 and charging them way below suggested voltage.

Check the voltage at the batteries. Then at the power control panel (fuses and circuit breakers).
My RV has an automatic circuit breaker between the battery bank and the power distribution center. Some times they are not auto reset but have a push button on them.
What is the "wake up" voltage on the batteries / bms?

Thanks pianotuna. I think wake up voltage is around 10V or so.
I tried to contact Battleborn yesterday. I will try again on Monday.

Since you apparently had power down to 11.2V could it have been from solar and the BMS had already shut down the battery?

My understanding is that the solar charges the batteries only. And the batteries supply the DC power. I had DC power prior to operating the generator.

Inverter works tells me there is plenty of working battery power. Verify voltage on the battery and along the path to the stack of 12vdc fuses. Eventually there will be a spot with voltage on one side and not the other.
Better yet... take it in under warranty.
