On our last trip, the site was not quite level and we had to raise the entry side 3 to 4 inches. We have the newer folding steps with the adjustable legs. Given the height difference when we release the adjustable legs they actually fell out. So slid them in till they clicked and put some blocks. Worked ok.

Come to leave and have a hard time sliding them all the way into the unit. Is there a trick for getting them to work again? We hold the release but it binds very quickly. Since they folded up we left them and headed home. Now need to get them working. Any thoughts?

Take them out, wipe any rust off, spray them down with lube (especially any spring loaded locking balls), reassemble. Mine uses removable pins.
