I wasn't able to snag a campsite when they became available. A friend told me about "Campsite Notifier" on the APp Store. It allows you to be notified when a cancellation occurs. I tried others but they notify you by email and I am not on email all of the time. So I bought the unlimited version of this and it seems to work great. I got a spot at Arches National Park which is nearly impossible. One note, you have to be quick when it notifies you on your Iphone because others are competing against you. Usually you can get one however. Good luck!
