Rules for Dump Stations
1. Do not leave your rig in the dump stataion line to go swimming with the family.
2. If your done at the dump station and have to do something else At least pull far enough ahead so the rig behind you can use the dump station.
3. Don't send the kids to the motor home bathroom when the Dad is trying to dump the tanks.
4. Don't stick the water hose for cleaning your sewer hose throught the window of the rv and have your wife clean the two sinks and the toilet bowl before you dump the tanks.
5. Don't pull your sewer hose out of the dump tank pipe and flush the %#$# on the ground till clear water comes out.
Today I sat 30 minutes in the dump line and watched all of the above. The one that took the cake was the dingy broad that went swimming with the family while everyone waited for her to come back and move her rig. She then said she thought the people behind were rude because we got angry at her for leaving her rig blocking the dump station line. There was not enought room to go around her so six of us had to sit.
Grizz the one who grumbles.

Now, granted, this is a little bit worse than Grocery Store Rant, but I wonder if you'll be told to not worry about it.

Interesting where the line will be drawn.

Grizz, you have all the right in the world to complain. Actions like that are just plain RUDE. I might even "moved" their vehicle for them, it to the woods or something.

Griz -Just another demonstration of some people being only concerned with themselves. They can't understand that the whole world is not there for there convenience. You might be glad you aren't near when she drives and wants to lane change or whatever.

I will have to say after waiting an hour and 10 minutes to dump yesterday at Ludington State Park in Michigan we were pleasantly surprised to find the whole dump area clean (if there is such a thing!) At least it was relatively dry and didn't see anyone doing anything questionable. It does bother me to see kids running around the dump area with almost bare feet while dad is dumping and people handling their hose with no gloves. I don't even like to walk in the area! We keep a box of disposable latex gloves in the compartment with the dump valves.

Grizz,

Know what you mean. Just yesterday at Seven Points, in PA saw a man empty his tanks, rinse his sewer hose with the provided hose, put his hose in his bumper and then proceed to take the provided rinse hose and shove it up into his black water tank and let 'er rip. He made "NO" effort to rinse away the mess let alone the offensive stench.

You do know Grizz that we are in the "me" generation phase of RVing. I know because I'm in that generation. We have consumed natural resources, screwed the environment and generally made sure we did everything we wanted to do without regard for others. What you might have done other than moving her rig (which would have been grand theft) would be to park a car or something in close to her rig in front so that she could not get around it and one in the back so she could not back up, thereby pinning her in.
Then upon her return, advise her of the error of her ways and stand back while she tells you to kiss off..... I gues what I mean to say in a long rambling way is that some folks are inconsiderate and don't think about others, noting you or I can do will change that. She will do it again. I probably would have left her a scalding message on her windshield though.

Hope you have better luck in the future

Maybe the dame who went swimming should have came back to a rig full of turds and things.
Just a nasty thought. Hee, hee, hee!
