RE: Sooooo... Do you lock your door?

Traveling down the road in NV, car pulls along side and yells the back door is open. Yeah we lock the door when departing now. Side note, locked the door when I went fishing o'dark thirty while wife was inside sleeping. Somehow the prevented her from unlocking from inside, pissed wife when I got back. Check your lock operation. That'll teach her to get up with you and see you off. LOL! Fat chance of that Dave.

RE: Lawn Tractor Trailer Spotter?

I have a Park 360 trailer tug that allows me to put a twenty foot boat in a storage space at my home that is very tight and twisty. Slow as a snail but lots of torque to move and position.

RE: Ford F350 Cracked Frame

I had a cracked frame, passenger side broken into two pieces near front of bed. Welded up and holding so far..

RE: think I would mess my drawers

Said one bear to another, oh look campers in sleeping bags. Soft on the outside and crunchy in the middle.

RE: Honda eu3000 overload running carrier air v for 5 minutes

The air temp and height above sea level might have something to do with it plus the age of the gen set. Just as an example my 2000 will run the AC just fine at sea level and 80 degrees but go to 2000 feet and over 90 degrees and it will not work for over five minutes. I know you have a 3000 but just a heads up. 3000 should do the job but ???

RE: water pump blips

Easy to take care of, just turn the switch off till you need it.

RE: Better lower overload spacers

My experience with hockey pucks is they break in half way too soon.

RE: Just got a hitch mount for my Honda 2000

Instead of the PVC, you can also use driveway markers. One of my baskets has mini fiberglass whips in the outside corners with bright colored balls on the ends. I tried drive way markers at first but the PVC painted orange is more visible to say a car cutting back into my lane too quickly. Iowa 80 sells some lighted wands for big rigs that would be even better. I like you suggestion of a higher mounted carrier Wayne. Brings to mind the electric wheel chair lift I have in my 'someday I will use that' pile. Power lift to get the gen up higher.

RE: Just got a hitch mount for my Honda 2000

My TL carrier is made for two 2000's or one 3000 so it sticks out pretty far. I use uprights made from PVC pipe painted orange to let me and others know it is there. I also have yellow clearance lights with magnetic bases that I can move to the other two carriers I have. Looks a bit like a Salmon troller with the out riggers but I and others know the front of the truck is a bit extended.

RE: State of Emergency in Washington?

Not to worry, my crazy neighbor says a winter akin to the one we had in 1969 is on tap.

RE: Illegal GPS mounting

The cops use "picayune ship" like this to justify otherwise illegal fishing expeditions. The fact that so many on this thread meekly endure this infringement of their 4th amendment rights illustrates how far we've slipped. I may get stopped but feel certain no one is going to get a look around inside my truck while my dog is inside.

RE: Rotating a trailer with a winch in a tight boondocking site

Something to keep in mind about trailer tugs, hand or electric / gas powered. They depend on tongue weight for traction.. Hit a bump, rock, log eat and things get difficult with light tongue weight.

RE: Why is there a 3 inch hole in the roof of my wolf creek?

What a giant gas bag. I have to say, pretty nasty comment there! Yessir, just so incredibly tired of you guys busting some bodies chops with useless opinions that were never asked for. Did you answer his question or anything at all? Any constructive advice, I sure never read a question about solar location. Sorry Nolan Seems to be a case of typing before thinking. A little thought would have brought up the case most likely NOT be used cocked off center and was so there would be access to the hole.

RE: Drone carrying a video camera

UAV just seems very broad, I imagine many court cases over the issue.

RE: State of Emergency in Washington?

If you look at how Austraila has developed a water usage plan in light of their recent prolonged dry spell you will understand how wasteful the American west water useage is. Better hope El NiƱo kicks in as predicted this next winter or we might be drinking toilet water.
