Need to clean the rubber roof on my 1995 Sea Breeze MH. I got the black streaks going down the side etc etc. I thought I saw something about cleaning with Boraxo powder soap??? I want to make sure I'm not going to warm the rubber in anyway. Any help out there for ideas and product to clean and protect. THANKS!

Give this a try. www.dicor.com
I think this will tell you all you need to know about your roof.

My 1996 SeaBreeze has a roof made by Alpha Systems. Their website said to use cleansers such as Comet, Ajax, Spic and Span...if it is EPDM rubber...they even said a granular cleaner is better because the roof surface is not really smooth but rather a grainy surface...I just finished mine this week using Comet cleanser...it is clean but I was disappointed that it didn't remove a lot of the black spots...oh well..

fplmt,
I had similar concerns and I checked with the Dicor people who said to clean the roof with Tilex and use 303 protectant on it after it's clean to protect it.

I agree with the 303 suggestion I have bee using it on mine for a couple of years and it is good stuff.. It is pricey, even when buying by the gallon but it goes a long way. Don't use too much. Just wet and wipe.

Careful with the pressure washer, so you don't blow any of the caulk loose.
