I read on here that there was a check list for picking up a new trailer or fifth wheel. We are waiting for a new Cardinal to arrive and so many things to check when it arrives that a list would help.Anyone that has a list would be great.

Have a look at http://www.rversonline.org/ArtFactoryPickup.html
Bob Gummersall provides an extensive checklist of what any new RV owner should do when picking up a new RV at the factory. And this applies to deliveries at the dealer, or picking up a used unit from the former owner. The article is geared toward motorhomes, but much of it is applicable to trailers as well.

Take a look at the Pre-Delivery at the link below. This is the best one I've ever found. It's very thorough.
The link also lists checklists for hitching, packing, etc. You may find them useful.

One thing I wished we had done when we picked ours up was spend two or three nights right near the dealer in order to do a slow and thorough check and ensure that every thing is working and that we know how to work it. This might be something to consider for all three of you picking up your new units, if it is at all practical. We live a hundred miles from the dealer so it's a real pain to have to run back and forth for minor adjustments and such. Best of luck to all of you with your new rigs.
