Just starting out in MH and looking for all the info before venturing out. Any suggestions on books, mag., etc. for info on camping, cooking, traveling, parks, etc. Eventually going to all the National Parks and hope to cover state parks someday. We are retired so can take our time. Do not want to travel while it is hot and crowded, I know that is asking a lot. The forums are great for info and feedback but would like to have a paper copy to read while traveling or to review before we leave.

By far the best camping/resort/RV park/state park directory is the Wheeler's Guide.

They have a printed book of several hundered pages, do a great job at rating campgrounds and providing details. They also have a service that you can call while on the road, they will make arrangement with the campground and will give you a call back (or you call them from a payphone down the road). Great service (limited to those campgrounds that advertise in their books). There book is about $14 and you have to order it from the web site.
