I have seen several: Allstate, Good Sam, FMCA, and I'm sure there are more out there. Which one provides the best service. Have you had occassion to find out first hand through experience? Which one would you go with?

I went through the same process as you did last November. Here's the link to the thread on what others provided me and my end result.

Incidentally, I ended up keeping AAA for my wife and daughters as members (which also covers me when I am with them), but also registered my wife's car, my truck, and FW under Good Sam ERS, so we have it both ways.
Hope this helps.

Camping World's ERS is identical to Good Sam (provided by Affinity) and is less expensive.

I have the Camping World road service. I have used it 2 times. One time on I-65 South of Nashville and the other time on I-59 near Gadsden,AL.
The one in Alabama was on a Sunday AM and they had to get someone out of Birmingham. Took a little while but when they changed the tire all I did was sign the ticket and was on the way.
Called an 800 number gave them the info and location. They called back and keep us informed.

Camping World's ERS is cheaper but it lacks one thing that the Good Sam ERS offers; Trip interuption protection. With GS, you have up to $1,200 for lodging, meals and transportation should your stuff break down and not be usable. CW's plan doesn't offer that.
With that said, it's a question of how much that protection is worth to you. We've had the occasion to use it and GS paid for two nights in a motel (yuck) and for four meals. Also found us a motel where we could have our dogs, two golden retrievers.
Tell you what though, I wouldn't leave home without some form of ERS. A simple tow can run a couple hundred dollars and up -- and we've had to use that service twice.

I have subscribed to Good SAM ERS and RRR and currently on Good Sam. They are all rude when you call in for service but I will switch back to RRR when my Good Sam expires because of the limitations on Good Sam and the cost of RRR is less expensive.

Our Emergency Road Service is included in our Progressive Insurance coverage at no separate charge. Used it one time and they were great.

Have road service through KOA (via Allstate). Used them twice in the last year. One time towed the MH 90 miles and another time about 15.
Have 36ft Class A Pusher so finding the right tow truck isn't easy. Both time things were done very professional, friendly and quickly. Can't say enough good things about them.
The first thing they ask is "are you safe where you are at?"
Just for the record both tows were for odd ball things and still love the motorhome......
Due to depreciation the above opinions are now worth less than what you paid for them.
We are all good at something.....
I just happen to be a good bad example.
