I am sure this question has been asked and answered a thousand times but I am curious what criteria is there for the various member classifications? Thanks

I believe after you enter 50 posts you become a regular member and after 200 posts you become a senior member

Hi there,
The ratings go by the number of posts that you do....replying or posting....is how you earn your status....
50 is a Member...over 100 is a Full member and over that is a Senior Member....
So join in....add your 2 cents worth.....

rkatk,it is a function of the number of posts that you have made,i.e. 0-50 = new Member; 51-150 =Full Member and over 150 posts =Senior Member. Frankly, it would have been/should have been a whole lot easier if SYSOP had explained this in our sign up as you are correct it does get asked quite a bit. The good news is every time it gets asked that is one more post to moving into another category. The bad news is why do we even need separate categories in the first place. Haven't we all been pigeon holed enough throughout our lives without The Affinity Group creating one more pigeon hole and besides without it you would not have had to listen to this too long of an explanation,.Ken Roberts...

Michael: As a new member you may want to look at the signature box location in your profile and creat something for yourself. Also if you click on the "view the CFB code guide here" and print it, you will have the instructions on how to make creative posts. Just a thought. Enjoy and have fun

Is there a way to view the number of posts that you've made (other than searching for your ID)?

OOPS, I just looked at my profile and it shows my number of posts.
