Is there a spell checker available for the Open Roads Forum. Sometimes when I go back and read my posting I wonder where where my head was. I never was good at spelling (especially after the 3rd grade) and depend upon either my wife or spell check in my e-mail program to keep me honest.

Ummmmm...dont think so, but you can type your reply or posting in WORD and then do the spell check there and cut/paste it to here.
Hope that helps...

I have a hard time proof reading my own writing too unless I read it several days later. Sometimes I read my own posts several days later and wonder how I made those mistakes too.
One thing you can do if you want, is keep a word processor open on your computer. Type your responses there and use the spelling checker on the word processor. Then cut and paste your note onto the BB.

Canoga, I haven't tried it on my mac. However, it is IE software, so think it probably will.

Sure seems like a lot of work to me for just a few lines. Since we're not being graded, I'd just as soon live with the occasional error. Of course, some days it seems like that's every other word. I think we're making our leisure time way too complicated.

Nah, it is very simple to use... it just downloads as a spell check in the 'tool's menu.
