anyone know where to get a kit to connect the roadtrip gas grill to the motor home. the grill comes with a regulator that has that special fitting on it, however the quick connect to the rv is already stepped down so its double regulated and not enough presure to operate.

I just posted this picture in the thread BarneyS linked to above. I made this up to connect my Roadtrip to my low pressure quick connect.

The regulator part does unscrew from the tubing.

I just never really saw the need to do this mod.... I always have the 1lb cans around and they are available everywhere... I use them on my Mr Buddy heaters as well...
I guess one day I will run out way-back-in-the-woods and wish I was connected to the big tank haha...

anyone figured a way yet to get the roadtrip hooked to the big tank without double regulating it?

That is what this year old thread is about. You have received some good suggestions on ways to do it. Have you tried any of them in the past year since you originally posted this thread? ![scratchead [emoticon]](http://www.rv.net/sharedcontent/cfb/images/scratchead.gif)

I put a Tee with a Brass valve on my MH propane tank before the regulator. On the Tee after the Shut off valve is a quick connect that I use to connect a 20' hose that can be used to run the Roadtrip Grill or lantern or anything else I need.

I just bought a 20 pound bottle from home depot and a hose kit, that's enough to last me for a lot of BBQs!

No Barney, unfortunately the suggestions didn't help, yes this thread is a year old and I'm still looking to get my road trip hooked to the low pressure line on the motor home.
Coleman uses a weird connector to the unit itself and that fitting is fused to the reg. so when connected to the low pressure side it's double regulated and has no flame. I know exactly what I need, just don't know if anyone makes it.
